This Storm Will Pass

 Oh! This daunting challenge,

with no end in sight,

having my life adversely rearranged.

 **

Now my chilling fears,

a daily faithful companion,

accompanied with bitter tears.

**

 True rest can hardly be,

for even when I try,

my sleep eludes me.

**

 Then comes a gentle voice,

whispering through my mind,

and I listened without a choice.

 **

 “In a moment resides sorrow,

but have faith and stay strong,

for relief comes in the morrow.

**

Though it seems it is here to last,

allay your fears, and wipe your tears,

for this storm will surely pass.”

Sometimes a gentle voice speaks words of hope and encouragement into our hearts when we are caught up in the middle of the storms in our lives. It may really be challenging to listen to this voice of hope in the midst of the chaos. However, it shows that God truly cares about our situation and can reach out to us through any means possible. It could be a gentle morning breeze, the warm glow of the morning sun, the innocent smile of a child, a butterfly in the sunset, the sway of flowers in the evening breeze, or anything that could inspire and bring hope into our hearts.

Challenges of life are a daily affair. It comes in different categories (like the hurricane) for different people. They all have the potential to break down defenses and wear us out. Depending on how it is managed, people emerge stronger or weaker. However, it remains true that the storms of life will certainly pass with time. How we handle the aftermath will determine how well we cope and recuperate going forward.

Dear friends, have faith in God and stay strong, for the storms in our lives will surely pass.
