Sacrificial Love

 In the midst of want,

A heart devoid of self,

Reaches out without a front.

**

 Sacrificial it is,

Love mingled with pain,

For a life not lived with ease.

 **

 Oh, how the world will so gain,

When in the midst of hate,

True love overwhelms the pain.

 **

In these times of prevalent disasters, sickness, poverty, displaced persons, hate, and traumatized individuals, the world can do with some sacrificial loving. Every little form of assistance to the needy in any setting, matters a whole lot, and helps to move us forward as a people. Let us all make the effort, and put more smiles on lots of faces, every day.
